The Long Break Is Almost Over!!

So i hear i sit on a Sunday night thinking to myself..."classes don't start for a week, what am i going to do?" Luckily for me i can move in to my dorm from the 18th on. So most of this week will be taken up with shopping and packing. But anyways, here's a summary of what i did over this long Christmas Break...
My break started out on the 21st of December (i know late). I took my 8am final and rushed home really excited to leave for skiing that day! I get home to find my family sitting around the table talking about not going because it was going to be really cold and really windy, so the fmailies (Weigelts and us) decided to postpone the trip until the next week. I was bummed out, but yet happy at the same time because now i got to see my girlfriend Heidi a few days earlier than planned.
Christmas came and i got some pretty neat stuff. Our whole family got new cell phones as part of the cingular family plan, and throughout the course of the next few weeks we each got different covers so we could tell them apart. I also got other fun little gifts as well as some money. I got Heidi and UWRF softball shirt because she loves playing softball and a bunch of pictures we had taken together, she got me a Leterneau shirt as well as some gift cards. Then after we exchanged gifts i played Mexican Train with her and her mother, i lost.
After Christmas came Skiing at Lutsen! I was very excited to go skiing, it's always fun! We got up there on monday night and got our ski's and boot's. The next two days we got up and went skiing, came back and relaxed in the hot tub. After the first day of skiing we had the usual Pautsch Weigelt gift exchange. There i first recieved the Drake present which had various drake stuff in it, that was then stollen by Mr. Weigelt. I then proceeded to steal my sisters present which included a $15 Chipolte gift card! There were other fun gifts like a Clapper, Chia Pet, a fountain, Elf the movie, and another clapper. We then drove home through an ice storm, that was exciting.
After skiing i spend much time with Heidi, watching movies and playing games. We celebrated New Years together watching the ball drop in New York at 11 and then watched Josh Groban in concert on DVD. Later in the week we got lunch at Chipolte and ate it in Frau Thomas' room and then i got to coach the 9th grade boys team because their coach was out of town (we lost). After that Heidi and i met Abby and her boyfriend Todd from my college at Cassettas and had a wonderful time with them. Heidi and i then spent more time together throughtout the week playing games and watching movies and spending some time together, then it was time to say goodbye to Heidi.
After Heidi left i went to New Life Basketball games and hung out with other friends doing whatever. I started to run out of things to do so my mom volunteered me at New Life. So for 2 days i went to New Life to help do anything and everything that needed to be done. It was nice to get to see some of the teachers again, it was also nice to give somthing back to the school that had given me so much. I truly do appreciate what New Life did for me.
So anyways, here i am, my Christmas break winding down and i have to start getting ready for school again. It was nice to have a week off but i think i'm ready to get back into the swing of things at River Falls and start my second semester of college!

I wonder if anybody will even care to read this...hummmm...
