Another Semester Begins...

So the second semester of school is here, seems to have come sooner than expected! But it will be another busy semester of classes, here's the rundown:
Basic Physics - The professor seems like the nerd in high school that nobody liked because he was too smart for his own good, but i'm looking forward to physics because i've never had it before.
Fundamental movement through dance - yes, i'm taking a dance class...in one class we did some dance stretches and it felt really good!
Dance Appreciation - yes, another dance class, this one focuses more on the history of dance, rather boreing!
National, State, & Local Government - This class focuses on the government and how it works and operates...exciting...
Persuasive Reading & Writing - English class...yuck, the professor is an older lady who likes to talk, a lot!!
Fundaments of Oral Communication - Seems like a pretty cool class, the professor is really cool and i look forward to making some fun and creative speeches!
So that's the class outlook for the second semester. It looks like it's going to be pretty busy, but i'm looking forward to learning a lot and also having a lot of fun hanging out with the buddies in the dorm and playing some broomball!!!

The Disappearing Folder

So today a buddy of mine was messing around on his computer. He right clicked on a folder he had just created and went to properties where he noticed a little button that says "hidden." So he decides to click on the little box and click apply. On returning to the screen he realizes that his folder is gone. Where did it go? He didn't know, nor do I, we searched his computer and couldn't find it anywhwere. So the moral of the story is don't make your folders hidden unless you know where they go or you don't want to find them again. If you know how to find them, please let me know. Thanks! Off to bed!

The Long Break Is Almost Over!!

So i hear i sit on a Sunday night thinking to myself..."classes don't start for a week, what am i going to do?" Luckily for me i can move in to my dorm from the 18th on. So most of this week will be taken up with shopping and packing. But anyways, here's a summary of what i did over this long Christmas Break...
My break started out on the 21st of December (i know late). I took my 8am final and rushed home really excited to leave for skiing that day! I get home to find my family sitting around the table talking about not going because it was going to be really cold and really windy, so the fmailies (Weigelts and us) decided to postpone the trip until the next week. I was bummed out, but yet happy at the same time because now i got to see my girlfriend Heidi a few days earlier than planned.
Christmas came and i got some pretty neat stuff. Our whole family got new cell phones as part of the cingular family plan, and throughout the course of the next few weeks we each got different covers so we could tell them apart. I also got other fun little gifts as well as some money. I got Heidi and UWRF softball shirt because she loves playing softball and a bunch of pictures we had taken together, she got me a Leterneau shirt as well as some gift cards. Then after we exchanged gifts i played Mexican Train with her and her mother, i lost.
After Christmas came Skiing at Lutsen! I was very excited to go skiing, it's always fun! We got up there on monday night and got our ski's and boot's. The next two days we got up and went skiing, came back and relaxed in the hot tub. After the first day of skiing we had the usual Pautsch Weigelt gift exchange. There i first recieved the Drake present which had various drake stuff in it, that was then stollen by Mr. Weigelt. I then proceeded to steal my sisters present which included a $15 Chipolte gift card! There were other fun gifts like a Clapper, Chia Pet, a fountain, Elf the movie, and another clapper. We then drove home through an ice storm, that was exciting.
After skiing i spend much time with Heidi, watching movies and playing games. We celebrated New Years together watching the ball drop in New York at 11 and then watched Josh Groban in concert on DVD. Later in the week we got lunch at Chipolte and ate it in Frau Thomas' room and then i got to coach the 9th grade boys team because their coach was out of town (we lost). After that Heidi and i met Abby and her boyfriend Todd from my college at Cassettas and had a wonderful time with them. Heidi and i then spent more time together throughtout the week playing games and watching movies and spending some time together, then it was time to say goodbye to Heidi.
After Heidi left i went to New Life Basketball games and hung out with other friends doing whatever. I started to run out of things to do so my mom volunteered me at New Life. So for 2 days i went to New Life to help do anything and everything that needed to be done. It was nice to get to see some of the teachers again, it was also nice to give somthing back to the school that had given me so much. I truly do appreciate what New Life did for me.
So anyways, here i am, my Christmas break winding down and i have to start getting ready for school again. It was nice to have a week off but i think i'm ready to get back into the swing of things at River Falls and start my second semester of college!

I wonder if anybody will even care to read this...hummmm...

A Day In Court

On Wednesday i had my first expirience of going to court. It was quite the expirience! First i got there and sat down in the court room while other cases were settled. Then the judge left and i sat there in the court room with other traffic violators like myself and waited for the judge to come back. A half hour past and a different judge came to the judges seat. He introduced himself and started with the cases. After about 10 minutes of expired tabs, recless driving, other auto related charges it was my turn. I walked up to the podium, the only thing i could hear was my heart beating, it was intense. He then asked how do i plea to the charge of speeding, i was "guilty" (it was pretty odvious i was speeding). The sherrif in the room then stood up swore to tell the truth and read what had happened that night from the account of the sherriff that pulled me over. The judge then reduced my ticket from 15 over to 9 over (this lowers my points down from 4 to 3). He then directed me to the receptionist and she gave me a bill to be payed at the clerks desk.
After all was said and done i defintly learned a lesson and never want to go to court again! I was a good expirience, but like i said, i don't want to do it again! After the court case my mom and i got a bagel and i called it a day and played video games. This is my exciting little addition to my blog!! Now it's off to the dentist!!!
