Temperatures
60 above zero:Floridians turn on the heat.People in Minnesota plant gardens.
50 above zero:Italian and English cars won't start.People in Minnesota drive with the windows down.
32 above zero:Distilled water freezes.The water in Bemidji gets thicker.
20 above zero:Floridians don coats, thermal underwear, gloves, and wool hats.People in Minnesota throw on a flannel shirt.
15 above zero:New York landlords finally turn up the heat.People in Minnesota have their last cookout before it gets cold.
Zero:All people in Miami die.Minnesotans close their windows.
10 below zero:Californians fly away to Mexico.People in Minnesota get out their winter coats.
25 below zero:Hollywood disintegrates.The Girl Scouts in Minnesota are selling cookies door to door.
40 below zero:Washington DC runs out of hot air.People in Minnesota let their dogs sleep indoors.
100 below zero:Santa Claus abandons the North Pole.Minnesotans get upset because they cannot start the Mini-Van.
460 below zero:ALL atomic motion stops. (Absolute zero on the Kelvin scale)People in Minnesota start saying...."Cold 'nuff fer ya?"
500 below zero:Hell freezes over.Minnesota public schools open 2 hours late.

I'm still Alive
To the few faithful readers i have i would like to let you know that i am still alive and kicking. I just simply forgot about this blog and haven't really had time to update it.
Anyways, i've started my second year here at Letourneau in Longview Texas and so far things are going well in the spring semester (yes, i skipped the whole fall semester and summer). Summer and Spring were fun, i water skiied in the summer, and took classes in the fall.

Well, that basically summs up my last year or so. I'm scheduled to graduate in May 2008. So that's another day to look forward to! I'll try to do a better job of keeping this updated with various things that go on during the course of the semester.

In the fall i was an RA in the honor's apartments here on campus which has been a blast! I've been able to use some of the gifts that God has given to me in a way to help out others.
During Christmas break i had something exciting happen. I got engaged to Heidi! It was a very exciting day for me and i'm also very excited to begin planning a wedding and getting married.

the update
So alot has been going on lately. Hear are some highlights...
-Baseball is still going on, it's what's been taking up the most of my time as i have practice everyday and games basically take up my whole day as i'm there from 9am till around 6pm. The team is doing better, we currently have a 9-17-1 (4-8 conference record). The team is young and has made great strides since the beginning of the school year. We have a road trip this weekend to the Ozarks...
-School is going, i'm working on getting my grades up to make mommy and daddy proud. But school has been hard as teachers like to assign a lot of stuff at one time, which never makes it fun, but i'm grinding through it. so yeah, school is school, i'm trying to enjoy it, but it's hard to when you don't really enjoy what you're learning (insert intro to fine arts here)
-I'm excited for next year! Next year, if you haven't heard/read yet i'm going to be one of the RA's (Resident Assistants) for the honors apartments on campus. I've already met some of the people i will be working with and the RD (Resident Director), Corey Ross, is a really cool guy. So i am really excited to get to know and work with these people in the days to come!
-Heidi and I are doing wonderful! Today we had a wonderful steak lunch provided by the Zietlow family who have also been a blessing for me while i've been down here away from my family. We're both busy with school and other commitments so we always look foward to our Chick-fil-a (which is amazing) and wal-mart dates! Heidi's amazing!
So that's what's been going on here in Texas. It's starting to get hot and humid out which is yucky, but hopefully it'll make for some exciting storms here someday! Well, i'm looking forward to going home in May, i can't wait!

what i've been up to...
So, here'a run down of what i've been up to.
The other day i went on an Art Field trip to Dallas. It was kinda boreing, we got stuck there for 2 extra hours because our bus wouldn't start, so that was tuff. We went to the Dallas Art Museum, the Hall of Texas, and the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, that was pretty cool.
This was a cool tower in downtown Dallas.

Among all of these things i've been busy observing for my education course, which has been fun, doing homework, which isn't fun, and working with baseball, practices and games. So i've been busy and i finally got a weekend to update this thing, so enjoy it and have a wonderful day!
