And now, the rest of the story...

So i left you with Heidi and i returning to the dorms. Well, the wonderful people in dorm 4 decided that i needed the full LETU expirience! So at around 12:30 the fire alarms started going off. Definitly wasn't too fun, but thankfully Texas is a lot warmer this time of the year than MN or WI, so it was actually quite pleasent dispite the fact that it was past midnight. So that event came and went and the next day came.

Tuesday i went to Bible and Psychology with Heidi. They were both quite exciting. After that we then competed in various activities. It started out with some board games, then moved to playing catch with the softball, and then playing some more basketball, and then more board games! I had a wonderful time speding time with Heidi!

Wednesday was a little different from the rest. I went to English and life science and another class with Heidi. I then recieved a wonderful tour of campus by Mr. Zietlow who showed me all the cool things they do at LETU. We also went out to lunch at a resturant called the butcher shop, very good! After my tour of LETU, Heidi and I drove to Mr. Z's house to see the rest of the Z fam. We had a wonderful spagetti dinner prepared by Mrs. Z and then after dinner and desert the Z girls proceeded to ware me out by playing anything and everything imaginable, from tricks on the trampoline to "go straberry shotcake". Once the girls finished waring me and Heidi out it was back to LETU.

Thursday i went Bible with Heidi and then back to the dorm to pack my stuff. Heidi and i then drove to her doctors appointment so she could have her blood drawn. After that i grabbed a quick lunch from an on-campus eating place and then we went to a little bit of the softball game. From there i said a tearful goodbye to Heidi and we parted ways.

I had a wonderful time at LETU. I got to meet a lot of wonderful people and the weather was OUTSTANDING, i mean 70's and sunny every day!! WOW!! It was a lot of fun! Now i conclude my spring break by going to a job interview tomorrow for Dick's Sporting Goods (i.e. Gaylans) and then some relaxin before it's back to UWRF!!

P.S. pictures coming soon, maybe one or two...

Greetings from Texas!

So i arrived in Texas around noon on Sunday and the temperature was a wonderful 70 degrees out! It was a very nice change from Minnesota. We then drove from the airport to Jennie's house, she was the one driving heidi and i from the airport. After spending some time there while she finished packing we then drove 2 hours to get to Leterneau University in Longview. The rest of Sunday i just hung out, i'm staying with Josh, he doesn't have a roommate, so i get a bed. Then monday rolled around and i went to breakfast, lunch, english, life science, and chapel with Heidi. She then had to work on a project so i came back to Josh's room and hung out, and then i walked to the sports complex here to meet Heidi where we then shot hoops for about 40 minutes. Then we came back to our dorms and then Heidi did some studying and i did some reading, and then we went to dinner, and then for a walk around campus where we ended up watching some of the intramural ultimate frisbee that was going on, then it started to rain so we headed back and now i am here, typing this!
